Through the foyer you reach the church hall. In the main nave, in the transept, on the side galleries and on the organ gallery there is room for about 460 visitors to take part in the church services and prayers or to get to know the varied concert programme. In the church hall astonishing documents of different epochs in art
and architecture can be experienced. Among them are the baroque sandstone
altar piece (1739) by Johann Benjamin Thomae and the Renaissance frieze „Dance
of the Dead“ (1535) by the Dresden sculptor Christoph Walther
I. |

The tower of the Dreikönigskirche, which was only added to the nave in the time between 1853 and 1857, is about 87.5 metres high. The outer facade of the tower is decorated with sculptures like the four evangelists and the three holy kings. Climbing the tower you pass the three bells. The As major peal for three voices was destroyed on 13th February in 1945 and newly casted in Apolda in 1977, using the salvaged bronze from the original bells. From the observation platform, you have a wonderful view of the historic old town, the vineyards in Radebeul, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the Eastern Oar Mountains.
